February 4, 2011: Prairie Village, KS 66208 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kansas City Christian Academy Panthers (Prairie Village, KS) and the visiting Doniphan West Mustangs (Highland, KS), saw Kansas City Christian Academy's basketball squad knock off Doniphan West by a score of 58-41.
With the victory, Kansas City Christian Academy improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Pembroke Hill (Kansas City, MO) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 5. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Pembroke Hill won 48-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS) in a Delaware Valley challenge, on Monday, February 7. Doniphan West will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 67-26 league win over Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS).
