California High School Basketball - Casa Grande can't hold off Amador Valley
December 29, 2012: Pleasanton, CA 94566 The Amador Valley Dons basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Casa Grande Gauchos to 43 in the Dons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Dons now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Livermore for a East Bay contest on Wednesday, January 2. Amador Valley will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 72-37 non-league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 10-1.
The Gauchos (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA). The Pumas enter the North Bay contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Maria Carrillo nudged Petaluma (Petaluma, CA), 46-35, in a non-league bout.
