October 15, 2010: Flint, MI 48504 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northern Vikings (Flint, MI) and the visiting Saginaw Trojans (Saginaw, MI), observed Northern's football squad defeat Saginaw by a count of 44-34.
The Vikings now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Flint Southwestern Academy for a Saginaw Valley match on Friday, October 22. Northern will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 48-0 league loss to Heritage (Saginaw, MI). The Knights record now stands at 0-8.
The Trojans (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI). The Lumberjacks enter the Saginaw Valley match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Arthur Hill was toppled by Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 41-21, in a league match.
