Michigan High School Basketball - Calvary overwhelms Calvary Christian
February 7, 2014: Holland, MI 49423 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Calvary Crusaders (Holland, MI) and the visiting Calvary Christian Eagles (Fruitport, MI), saw Calvary's basketball squad wallop Calvary Christian by a count of 77-50.
With the victory, Calvary upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders host West Michigan Lutheran (Wyoming, MI) to play the Mustangs in a Alliance challenge on Monday, February 10. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. West Michigan Lutheran won 85-45 in their recent league challenge against Black River (Holland, MI)
Next up, the Eagles play the Lutheran South Saints (Newport, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Calvary Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 45-34 league loss to Huron Valley Lutheran (Westland, MI).
