Texas High School Basketball - Burleson topped by Northwest
December 6, 2008: Justin, TX 76247 The Northwest Texans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Burleson Elks to 54 in the Texans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Texans now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Ryan for a non-league contest on Monday, December 15. Northwest will meet a Raiders team coming off a 54-48 non-league win over Clear Creek (League City, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-4.
The Elks (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Granbury was defeated by Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 65-54, in a non-league contest.
