January 11, 2014: Country Club Hills, IL 60478 The Rock Island Rocks basketball team (Rock Island, IL), was toppled 75-67 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL)
The Hawks now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evergreen Park for a South Suburban battle on Tuesday, January 14. Hillcrest will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 64-54 non-league win over Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.
The Rocks (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Silver Streaks come into the Western Big 6 battle with a 13-3 record.
