Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA), 73-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Humboldt upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Algona (Algona, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a North Central bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Algona lost 70-48 in their recent league bout against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA)

Next up, the Cougars play the South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 7. Northwest Webster will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
