In Friday's league outing, the Mountain View Christian Saints (Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad knocked off the host Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), by a margin of 47-34.

The Saints (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Mead Academy (Henderson, NV). The Eagles go into the Southern 2A outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Lake Mead Academy topped Lincoln County (Panaca, NV), 64-60, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Needles for a Southern 2A outing on Saturday, January 14. Laughlin will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 98-74 league loss to Agassi Prep (Las Vegas, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-6.
