September 5, 2014: Anniston, AL 36206 The Saks Wildcats (Anniston, AL) football defeated the visiting Sardis Lions (Boaz, AL), 34-7 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) in a 4A Region 6 bout, on Friday, September 12. Saks will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 31-0 league loss to Cleburne County (Heflin, AL).
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Golden Eagles enter the 4A Region 6 bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Jacksonville defeated Crossville (Crossville, AL), 49-0, in a league bout.
