Oklahoma High School Football - Southmoore knocks off Santa Fe
October 8, 2009: Moore, OK The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Southmoore SaberCats (Moore, OK) and the visiting Santa Fe Wolves (Edmond, OK), observed Southmoore's football squad thwart Santa Fe by a tally of 28-12.
The SaberCats now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lawton for a 6A District 1 contest on Friday, October 16. Southmoore will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 30-7 league loss to Del City (Del City, OK). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-1.
Coming up next, the Wolves play the Putnam City North Panthers (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 6A District 1 contest, on Thursday, October 15. Santa Fe will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 49-7 league win over Moore (Moore, OK).
