Missouri High School Basketball - Webster Groves topped by Blue Springs South
January 31, 2015: Blue Springs, MO 64015 The Blue Springs South Jaguars basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Webster Groves Statesmen to 62 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Jaguars now sport a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Raymore-Peculiar for a Suburban - Gold contest on Tuesday, February 3. Blue Springs South will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-47 league loss to Lee's Summit (Lee's Summit, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 14-3.
The Statesmen (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Parkway West (Ballwin, MO). The Longhorns come into the Suburban - South contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Parkway West prevailed over Parkway South (Manchester, MO), 58-28, in a league contest.
