September 6, 2008: Minnetonka, MN 55305 The Hopkins Royals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Pipestone Arrows to 0 in the Royals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Royals now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogers for a non-league game on Monday, September 8. Hopkins will meet a Royals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Royals record now stands at 2-6.
The Arrows (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Luverne (Luverne, MN). The Cardinals go into the Southwest outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Luverne notched a victory over Round Lake-Brewster (Round Lake, MN), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
