The Cowboys (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against McPherson (McPherson, KS). The Bullpups come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, McPherson knocked off Winfield (Winfield, KS), 40-0, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goodland for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 17. Clay Center will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 41-12 non-league win over Russell (Russell, KS). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-3.
