California High School Basketball - Lutheran prevails El Dorado
December 29, 2009: Orange, CA 92867 Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA), 43-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lutheran upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 30. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Mira Costa won 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA)
Next up, the Golden Hawks encounter the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 5. El Dorado will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Aztecs go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA).
