In Saturday's non-league outing, the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN), by a count of 50-44.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Covington (Covington, TN). The Chargers go into the AA District 13 outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Covington was tipped by Bolivar Central (Bolivar, TN), 61-59, in a non-league outing.
