Texas High School Basketball - Ennis beaten by Mesquite
December 17, 2010: Mesquite, TX 75149 The Mesquite Skeeters ran past the visiting Ennis Lions basketball team by a final score of 43-23 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Skeeters face the DeSoto Eagles (De Soto, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 game, on Tuesday, January 4. Mesquite will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record.
With the defeat, Ennis moves to 4-10 on the year. The Lions host Poteet (Mesquite, TX) to face the Pirates in a 4A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, December 21. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 12-3. Poteet won 55-46 in their recent league game against Lancaster (Lancaster, TX)
