December 28, 2009: Lexington, KY 40503 The Canandaigua Academy Braves basketball team (Canandaigua, NY), was overwhelmed 52-27 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY)
The Generals now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Nicolet for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 29. Lafayette will battle a Knights team coming off a 62-43 non-league win over Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 6-1.
The Braves (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Grant County was overwhelmed by Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH), 53-23, in a non-league battle.
