October 7, 2011: Minneota, MN 56264 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Minneota Vikings (Minneota, MN) and the visiting Edina Hornets (Edina, MN), saw Minneota's volleyball squad nip Edina by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Minneota upgrades its record to 23-4 on the year. The Vikings host Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN) to play the Blackjacks in a Camden bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Blackjacks go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Dawson-Boyd lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN)
The Hornets now own a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Eden Prairie for a Lake game on Tuesday, October 11. Edina will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 17-5.
