Arizona High School Softball - Shadow Mountain bounces Thunderbird
April 12, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85028 Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Thunderbird Chiefs (Phoenix, AZ), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Matadors now own a 15-10 record. They take the field next when they host Saguaro for a II Section III challenge on Friday, April 13. Shadow Mountain will battle a Sabercats squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 14-11.
With the loss, Thunderbird falls to 4-19 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Apollo (Glendale, AZ) to battle the Hawks in a II Section II challenge on Friday, April 13. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 8-13. Apollo won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ)
