Colorado High School Softball - Douglas County bounces Highlands Ranch
September 23, 2011: Castle Rock, CO 80104 Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Highlands Ranch Falcons (Highlands Ranch, CO), 10-4 in a league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Regis Jesuit for a 5A Continental challenge on Monday, September 26. Douglas County will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Highlands Ranch falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Heritage (Littleton, CO) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Continental game on Monday, September 26. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-8. Heritage lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Chaparral (Parker, CO)
