Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 54-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Chargers travel to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to play the Vikings in a 2A/1A Conference 5 bout on Friday, February 12. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-10. South Granville won 58-38 in their recent league bout against Granville Central (Stem, NC)

Next up, the Fighting Red Wolves play the River Mill Academy Jaguars (Graham, NC) in a 2A/1A Conference 5 bout, on Friday, February 12. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 24-4 record after their 84-26 league win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC).
