December 30, 2014: Birmingham, AL 35218 The Meridian Wildcats routed the host Jackson-Olin Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 77-51 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) in a 6A Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, January 6. Meridian will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 74-26 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, MS).
The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Minor (Adamsville, AL). The Tigers come into the 6A Area 8 contest with a 11-6 record.
