Washington High School Football - Ferris gets by Lewis & Clark
October 21, 2011: Spokane, WA 99223 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) and the visiting Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA), observed Ferris's football squad edge Lewis & Clark by a count of 24-21.
The Saxons now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gonzaga Prep for a 3A/4A Greater Spokane contest on Friday, October 28. Ferris will play a Bullpups squad coming off a 27-17 league loss to Mead (Spokane, WA). The Bullpups record now stands at 5-3.
Coming up next, the Tigers play the Central Valley Bears (Veradale, WA) in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane contest, on Thursday, October 27. Lewis & Clark will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 54-10 league win over North Central (Spokane, WA).
