Texas High School Basketball - Vandegrift overwhelms Rouse

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) and the host Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX), saw Vandegrift's basketball squad trounce Rouse by a score of 51-30.

With the victory, Vandegrift improves its record to 18-12 on the campaign. The Vipers host Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 14-14.

Next up, the Raiders battle the Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Rouse will attempt to improve on its 11-17 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 21-6 record after their 58-43 league loss to Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX).
