September 15, 2006: Salem, OR 97304 Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they observed their football squad topple the host West Salem Titans (Salem, OR), 31-21 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host McMinnville for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Roseburg will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to Westview (Portland, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, West Salem moves to 1-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Sprague (Salem, OR) to clash with the Olympians in a 6A Central Valley challenge on Friday, September 22. The Olympians go into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Sprague lost 17-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Evergreen (Vancouver, WA)
