The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) and the visiting Bishop Broncos (Bishop, CA), observed Yerington's football squad bounce Bishop by a count of 44-6.

The Lions now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host West Wendover for a III Northern contest on Friday, September 11. Yerington will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 63-6 league loss to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Broncos encounter the Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 11. Bishop will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
