Maryland High School Football - Poly nips Dunbar
October 21, 2011: Baltimore, MD 21209 In Friday's league match, the host Poly Engineers football squad scored a close 18-14 victory over the Dunbar Poets.
In their next game, the Engineers clash with the Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore City Division I match, on Friday, October 28. Poly will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 10-8 league loss to Digital Harbor (Baltimore, MD).
The Poets (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Carver Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD). The Bears enter the Baltimore City Division I match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Carver Vo-Tech was nudged by Douglass (Baltimore, MD), 12-8, in a league match.
