Game Summary
Dylan Tate went six strong innings without giving up an earned run gaining his first win of the season. Tate ended the game with five strike outs, scattering three hits and walking just two batters. Thomas Galuchie picked up the save, facing just three batters in the final frame.
With Claremont down by a run, they scored four in the fourth. With one out, Kyle Jackson was hit by a pitch and advanced to second on a fielders choice. Joe Harris tied the game when he doubled down the right field line scoring Jackson. Nick Costello followed with a base hit to left field scoring Harris. Manny Argomaniz finished the scoring in the fourth with a two strike opposite field home run picking up Costello. Claremont scored one in the fifth and one in the sixth to cap off the scoring.
Claremont collected eight hits on the day with Auston Ingram leading the hitting attack with a two hit performance.
