Texas High School Football - Coronado trounced by Midland
September 2, 2005: Midland, TX 79701 Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team trounce the visiting Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX), 41-6 in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host San Angelo Central for a non-league game on Friday, September 9. Midland will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 48-7 non-league loss to Abilene (San Angelo, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-1.
Next up, the Thunderbirds meet the Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 9. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 28-0 non-league loss to Mountain View (El Paso, TX).
