Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) and the host Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV), saw Spring Creek's basketball squad trounce Fernley by a score of 59-34.

With the victory, Spring Creek improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV) to play the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 5. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Battle Mountain won 44-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV)
