The Huntington Highlanders topped the visiting Ripley Vikings basketball team by a final score of 60-49 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) in a Mountain State game, on Saturday, January 10. Huntington will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 2-3 record after their 84-63 league win over Nitro (Nitro, WV).
