Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) and the host Lincoln Trojans (Stockton, CA), saw McClatchy's basketball squad hold off Lincoln by a count of 60-55.

With the victory, McClatchy upgrades its record to 22-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Napa (Napa, CA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 25-2. Napa won 60-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Tokay (Lodi, CA)
