North Carolina High School Football - Southern triumphant over Riverside
October 15, 2010: Durham, NC 27703 Southern Spartans (Durham, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Riverside Pirates (Durham, NC), 47-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Southern improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a 4A Pac-6 test on Friday, October 22. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-7. East Chapel Hill lost 41-14 in their recent league test against Northern (Durham, NC)
With the loss, Riverside drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host Hillside (Durham, NC) to confront the Hornets in a 4A Pac-6 test on Friday, October 22. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 8-0. Hillside won 34-14 in their recent league test against Jordan (Durham, NC)
