March 24, 2012: Garden Grove, CA 92845 The Pacifica Mariners held off the visiting Marshall Barristers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mariners now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King-Drew Medical for a non-league test on Saturday, March 24. Pacifica will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Narbonne (Harbor City, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
The Barristers (6-8) will now prepare for their test against King-Drew Medical (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, King-Drew Medical was nudged by Narbonne (Harbor City, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
