The Montgomery Bears crushed the visiting Magnolia Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 15-7 in Saturday's league bout.

The Bears now possess a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Stratford for a 4A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, April 3. Montgomery will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 9-9.

The Bulldogs (13-5) will now prepare for their game against Stratford (Houston, TX). The Spartans go into the 4A Region III District 17 game with a 9-10 record.
