In Friday's league outing, the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) basketball squad nipped the visiting Norrix Knights (Kalamazoo, MI), by a margin of 55-52.

The Maroon Giants (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs go into the Southwestern Michigan - Central outing with a 1-8 record.

The Knights now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bridgman for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 25.
