In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 42-32.

The Pumas (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Aztecs go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Corona del Sol topped Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ), 75-51, in a non-league outing.
