Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV), 90-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ripley upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Princeton (Princeton, WV) to play the Tigers in a Mountain State bout on Wednesday, January 26. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Doddridge County Bulldogs (West Union, WV) in a Little Kanawha - North bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Ravenswood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 75-71 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV).
