Georgia High School Football - Montgomery County held off by Treutlen
October 21, 2011: Mt. Vernon, GA 30445 Treutlen Vikings (Soperton, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA), 21-14 in a league test.
With the triumph, Treutlen improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Portal (Portal, GA) to battle the Panthers in a A Region 3 West test on Friday, October 28. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-3. Portal won 14-7 in their recent league test against Wheeler County (Alamo, GA)
With the loss, Montgomery County drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA) to battle the Trojans in a A Region 3 West test on Friday, October 28. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 5-3. Johnson County won 38-8 in their recent league test against Treutlen (Soperton, GA)
