Wisconsin High School Basketball - Lake Central overwhelms Menomonee Falls
January 7, 2012: Menomonee Falls, WI 53051 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the host Menomonee Falls Indians (Menomonee Falls, WI), saw Lake Central's basketball squad trounce Menomonee Falls by a score of 73-47.
With the victory, Lake Central improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Highland (Highland, IN) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Highland lost 75-70 in their recent league challenge against Lowell (Lowell, IN)
Next up, the Indians battle the West Allis Central Bulldogs (West Allis, WI) in a Greater Metro challenge, on Friday, January 13. Menomonee Falls will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 65-54 league win over Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI).
