Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lincoln Park Performing Arts thwarts New Castle
January 17, 2015: New Castle, PA 16101 The Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA) basketball knocked off the host New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA), 59-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats enter the WPIAL AA 1 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Shenango was defeated by Neshannock (New Castle, PA), 51-46, in a league contest.
The Hurricanes (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Warriors enter the WPIAL AAA 2 contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Central Valley ran past Riverside (Ellwood City, PA), 63-60, in a non-league contest.
