With the victory, Newport improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Lonoke (Lonoke, AR) to play the Jackrabbits in a 4A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Jackrabbits come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Lonoke lost 51-45 in their recent league challenge against Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR)
