The Aurora Huskies ran past the host Central City Bison basketball team by a final score of 53-42 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 17. Aurora will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Centurions come into the battle with a 2-11 record after their 50-29 non-league loss to Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE).

The Bison (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Centennial (Utica, NE). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Centennial beat Lakeview (Columbus, NE), 62-58, in a non-league battle.
