September 20, 2010: Florence, KY 41042 The Boone County Rebels volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds to 0 in the Rebels non-league victory on Monday.
The Rebels now possess a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenton for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 21. Boone County will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Holmes (Covington, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 13-11.
The Thorobreds (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears enter the District 40 game with a 8-11 record. In their last game, Bracken County defeated Mason County (Maysville, KY), 2-0, in a league game.
