Washington, DC High School Basketball - James Island ripped by Gonzaga
December 28, 2011: Washington, DC 20010 The Gonzaga Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting James Island Trojans to 42 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goose Creek for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Gonzaga will confront a Gators team coming off a 72-49 non-league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Gators record now stands at 9-0.
The Trojans (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC). The Stags enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Berkeley was routed by Wade Hampton (Hampton, SC), 51-47, in a non-league contest.
