Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) and the visiting Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN), saw Centennial's basketball squad knock off Hopkins by a score of 79-70.

With the victory, Centennial improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Osseo (Osseo, MN) to battle the Orioles in a Northwest Suburban challenge on Thursday, January 10. The Orioles come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Osseo won 64-51 in their recent league challenge against Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN)

Next up, the Royals battle the DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 10. Hopkins will attempt to improve on its 13-1 season record. The Islanders come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 66-39 league win over St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN).
