Vashon Wolverines (St. Louis, MO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host McCluer South-Berkeley Bulldogs (Ferguson, MO), 65-50 in a non-league battle.

The Wolverines now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Normandy for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 27. Vashon will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-21 non-league win over Roosevelt (St. Louis, MO). The Vikings record now stands at 5-1.
