The North Pointe Prep Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) basketball felled the host Salt River Eagles (Scottsdale, AZ), 50-35 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Falcons (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Canyon State Academy (Queen Creek, AZ). The Rams go into the 2A Central test with a 3-7 record.

The Eagles now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orme for a 1A West test on Saturday, January 10. Salt River will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 37-31 league loss to St. Paul's Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.
