The Sutherland Sailors basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Perkins County Plainsmen to 35 in the Sailors non-league victory on Friday.

The Sailors now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Creek Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 27. Sutherland will meet a Storm team coming off a 50-39 non-league loss to South Platte (Big Springs, NE). The Storm record now stands at 1-10.

The Plainsmen (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Sedgwick County beat Wray (Wray, CO), 53-49, in a league contest.
