The McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA), 48-34 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Arvin topped Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA), 64-30, in a non-league test.
